That is to offer step one in the customer's travel experience - choosing a destination. This is why we have proposed the new and exciting user experience of "Explore KAYAK."
The "Explore KAYAK" experience offers an invitation of personal growth through the choices of "adventure, culture, and spirituality."
The user is now guided through an expressive, funnelling search to discover their ideal destination.

Users are currently expected to determine a travel destination before they start their KAYAK search. The home page is presented as "hotels". And in order to begin the search, the user must type in where they are going.

Once the user clicks on a location, it will take them to a page with a short description of the location. Users will be able to read stories of other people's experience on the right. Each story will be approved by a Kayak expert before being featured.
